Shelly Heath's work for Artranspennine03 is a project that utilises 300 Cream
Buns. The artist works in a bakery in Macclesfield which sells cream buns and
the particular cream buns she intends to use are famous throughout the Macclesfield
area. Indeed people come from as far away as Birmingham to buy them. They are
beautifully round, filled with cream, with bright lemon icing on top of them.
The artist proposes to place around 300 of them on a large pink carpet in front
of Macclesfield's imposing Victorian Town Hall.
