Calling Manchester - get high and experience the city.

A unique chance to participate and gain a different perspective of your urban environment.

As we conduct our everyday city lives, there aren‚t many opportunities to ascend a tall building and see Manchester‚s skyline. Rooftop Review takes inspiration from viewing towers, and promotes the idea of elevated investigation.

The Mancunian entrepreneurial spirit, the 1996 IRA bomb and the Commonwealth Games have regenerated much of the city centre, reinstating it as a can-do city.

Rooftop Review gives people in Manchester a rare opportunity to re-examine the metropolis they encounter from ground level, and to interact with it. The essence of this event is that experience, memory, and understanding of this aspiring international city become art.

The A5 event-flyer (available from Manchester Visitor Centre and in Peter House) doubles up as a paper aeroplane. Visitors are invited to fold their own paper aeroplanes to keep, or to give to the artist to launch from the building.
