Düsseldorf-based artists Rita McBride and Glen Rubsamen contribution to Artranspennine03 will take the form a large number of tiny glass ants, produced on the Venetian island of Murano as well as special edition of burgandy travel bags, produced in Malaysia. The ants and bags will be distributed around various sites in Manchester and Salford where they will stay until such time as they have been taken away and further distributed by members of the public.
